Inert German 7.92mm MG34/42 Machine Gun Belt & Starter Tab

This is a fifty round belt on inert 7.92mm ammunition for use with the MG34 and MG42 machine guns. The belt can also be used for the Yugoslavian M53 machine gun. The belt has the three letter makers code 'cvo" for Metallwarenfabrik OHG. The starter tab is dated January 1941 ( 1/41 ) and has the three letter makers code 'ddc" for Hermann Zenker Blockwarenfabrik. The fifty inert 7.92mm rounds are all of post-war manufacture.
