U.S. Arctic Field Jacket

This is blanket lined Arctic field jacket, which is similar to the M1941 field jacket. The Artic field jacket has tightening tabs at the wrists and waist with metal buckles. It was standardised in 1941 and issued to troops operating in extreme cold climate regions. The Artic field jacket was replaced in 1943 with the M1943 field jacket. This example is in very good condition with a working talon marked zipper.
