U.S. Arctic Field Jacket

The Arctic field jacket was standardised in 1941 and issued to troops operating in extremely cold climate regions. The jacket is similar in appearance to the M1941 field jacket,The arctic jacket is blanket lined and has securing tabs on the cuffs and waist. This example has had the zipper removed and has the unit patch of the 29th Infantry Division. However i do not believe the patch is original to the jacket. But it is an original 29th Infantry patch. The arctic field jacket was replaced in 1943 with the M1943 field jacket.
