French M15 Civil Defence Adrian Helmet

This is a M15 Adrian helmet which has been utilised by the civil defence during the outbreak of WW2. The helmet has been overpainted with the original horizon blue finish, still visible under the overpaint. The front of the helmet has had the letters 'DP" stencilled to the front for Defence Passive. The liner is still present and size stamped 56. The chinstrap on this example is missing.
