Scottish 22nd Pattern Tunic

This is a 22nd Tunic which wad worn by Scottish regiments of the British army. It differs from the standard 22 pattern tunic. The shape of the bottom of the tunic,s front is slanted where the standard pattern is square. This example is in very good condition, the contract label is still attached however all the details, makers name and year of manufacture is worn away. The tunic is stamped with the War Department year acceptance letter code "O" for 1942. The tunic has the standard general service buttons and retains the belt hooks.
