British 1940 Pattern Battle Dress Blouse

This is 1940 pattern Battle Dress blouse which has the insignia of the Durham Light Infantry with the 50th Infantry Division. The rank of Lance Corporal with a good conduct chevron awarded for two years service without any disciplinary action. I believe the 50th Divisional patch is a good quality reproduction with all other insignia original. This example retains its contract label which gives the manufacturer's name "Templeton & Sons.Ltd, the size 9 and the date of manufacture 1943. The BD is also stamped with the War Department's year letter acceptance code 'Z" for 1945.
