French MAB Model D Type II Pistol ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. The MAB model D was produced by Manufacture d'Armes de Bayonne ( MAB ) from 1932 to 1982. There are two types of the pistol. Type 1 was produced from 1933 to 1945 and differs from the Type 2, which was produced from June 1945 to 1982. The Type 1 has a slide release catch just in front of the trigger guard. The Type 2 has a bush muzzle ring which you have to push down and twist to remove. The MAB model D was issued to the French military and police before WW2. It continued to be used by the French military, Police and other governmental agencies . This example has an anchor on the slide which signifies it's French Navy issue. For Non EU Sales Only.
