U.S. Inert MKIIA1 Fragmentation Grenade

This is an pre-1942 made MKIIA1 fragmentation grenade, more commonly referred to as the "Pineapple Grenade", due to its resemblance to the said fruit. From mid 1942 the grenade would have been painted olive drab for camouflage purposes. The majority of the early grenades where overpainted. This example retains over 50% of its original yellow paint with traces of the oliver drab over paint.U.K. Sales Only.
