German Army Wrist Watch

This is a Swiss made wrist watch manufactured as contract for the German army by the Swiss firm Record Watch Company. The "GENF" under the firms name is German abbreviation for Geneva. The which is marked D495819. The letter D prefix is for Deutsch. Normally the serial number would be followed by the letter 'H" for HEER ( Army ). However this is not visible. This example is in working condition, however it would probably benefit with a full serivce.
