U.S. M1936 Field Bag

This is a rubberised M1936 field bag, more commonly referred to as the Musette bag. The M1936 field bag was solely issued in lieu of the M1928 haversack to officers, airborne troops and armoured crews. This example is maker marked "Hanson MFG.Co and dated 1941. It is also marked with the original owners name. It comes with a shoulder strap which also has the original owners personal service number and a faint makers stamp.
