German K98 Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. A 1937 dated example of the K98 rifle which has the pre-war makers code S/27, which identifies the manufacturer as Berthold Geipel GmbH. Which also used the three letter wartime code "ayf" and are better known as ERMA, who mainly produced the MP40 submachine guns. Making this example, quite a rare maker marked K98. The receiver is also stamped with the letter "X", which means this example is a Russian capture. However the early Third Reich era proof markings are still visible and intact. We have re-built this example and is correct for the year of production. The thread for the cleaning rod is worn and does not secure a cleaning rod which is not included. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purchase.
