German K98 Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is a late 1944 production model of the K98 rifle. Which uses press-steel fittings, where early and mid-war examples used machined steel fittings. In late 1944 a single number "4" was used to date the rifle. This example has the three letter makers code 'bcd" for Wilhelm-Gustloff Werke and is not a Russian capture. The eagle and swastika proof marking is still visible on the receiver. The butt plate has a makers code "brg" for H.W.Schmidt Metallwaren. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the EU specification. Please email before making purchase.
