German Army Parade Tunic

This is army parade tunic which has the branch of service piping white for Infantry, with 4th Company epaulette buttons. The tunic is in very good condition, with three sets of award loops. I would believe the awards would have been, 2nd Class Iron Cross ribbon bar, Infantry Assault and wound badges. The tunic is dated 1938. ( E38). The letter E is for Erfurt. The parade tunic ( Waffenrock ) was only in production from 1936 to 1940, when war demands too president the production of the parade tunic was stopped. However it was planned for the parade tunic to be re-introduced after the war.
