German Army Officers M43 Tunic

This in in fact a standard enlisted man's M43 tunic, which the officer wood have drawn form the stores. The collar has been replaced with a green collar and no other alterations has been done to the tunic, apart of the addition of officer insignia, breast eagle, collar tabs and shoulder boards. The collar tabs and shoulder boards have the branch of service piping white for infantry and the rank of Hauptmann ( Captain ). The collar has suffered with some moth damage especially around the collar tabs and the front of the tunic on the left side has also suffered with some minor moth nips. The rayon lining still clearing shows the size markings and the date of production 1944 ( R44 ).
