U.S. M41 Field Jacket

This is the 2nd pattern M41 field jacket, which has suffered with some minor fraying to the collar and a row of holes on the lower front. Which seems to have been made on purpose. However i have no ideal the reason behind the holes being made. The cuffs have not suffered with any fraying which is common on M41 jackets. The Talon zipper is in good working condition. One button is missing on the upper front.
