British Tankers Suit

This is a 1945 dated Tankers suit, which was introduced in July 1943 and is sometimes referred to as the "Pixie Suit". This example is stained through use. It has not rips or tare and is in good condition with all zips and press-studs in good working order. However the left full length zip has started to unstitch from the top. The contract label is still attached on the inside of the sleeve which gives the date of manufacture, the size which 3 and the name of the manufacturer A.Whyman Ltd.
