German MG34 Deactivted Barrel & Container

This is a deactivated MG34 barrel which has been post-war used by the Israeli Defence Force. Unfortunately the Third Reich proof markings have been mostly dotted out but are partially visible. The barrel comes with a spare barrel container which was originally painted in ordnance tan and was period overpainted steel blue. It contains its original webbing strap, maker marked "brg" for H.W.Schmidt Metallwaren and dated 1943. U.K. Sales Only.
