German Large Capacity Water Bottle

This s a large capacity water bottle which was originally designed as a medics water bottle, which would have a different leather harness with a shoulder strap. This type of water bottle was originally issued to para and mount troops. However it did get issued to regular troops. This example is in excellent condition dated 1941 and has the makers code "MN" unknown maker.
