Austrian MP34 SMG ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is an Austrian MP34 submachine gun which is also known as the Steyr-Solothurn. It was designed by a German engineer Lous Stange and was originally built in Switzerland and was designated the S1-100. The MP34 designation was given by the Austrian Army when the weapon was built under licence. This example was produced by Osterreichische Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft. However when Germany annexed Austria in 1938 the MP34 was used by the Wehrmacht. In 1942 Portugal made a contract with Germany to be suppled with the MP34. This example is a Portugese contact with the Portugese crest and the date of the contract, not the date of manufacture. This example does not have any Third Reich proof markings, which indicates it was produced before the German annexation. It is matchung numbered and a pre-1995 deactivation, cocks, dry firs and can be stripped. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
