U.S. M1C Carbine Hip Holster

This is a special holster for the folding stock M1C carbine for use with paratroopers, which was adopted in February 1943. This example was been period modified with the addition of two M1 carbine twin magazine pouches which have been stitched to the holster. The holster is maker marked "Atlas Awning" and dated 1943.
