German Gas Mask & Canister

I believe this is a civilian or home defence version of the M30 gas mask which does not have the snout piece. The filter is also a civilian or home defence example. The gas mask is stamped with a Third Reich era proof marking ( Waffenampt ). The canister is the mid war example which has been post 1945 repainted and the carrying straps are bundeswher. Ideal for living history displays.
