MG34/42 Belt Loading Machine

This is a belt loading machine for the MG34 and MG42 machine guns. However the feeder tray as been modified for post-war use toload 7.62mm for use with the MG3 machine gun. The loading machine, table clamp including the modified feeder tray, retains its Third Reich proof markings and is still in working order. The wartime makers codes are also still visible "hbe/hdk" Maschinenfabrik Rudolf Stahely/Eugene Zerver Werkzeugfabrik. The table clamp has the pre-war makers code 745 for Maschinenfabrik Rudolf Stahely. The loading machine comes in its carrier tin which is a standard wartime steel construction ammunition tin.
