British Officers 40 Pattern ( Gloucester Rgt )

This a 40 pattern Battle Dress which has had the collar tailored for officer use. This example is in excellent condition and has the rank of Major and the shoulder titles of the Gloucester Regiment. It also has a post-war formation patch of the Salisbury Plains District. The BD retains its contract label, which gives the manufacturers name "Mourne Clothing Co.Ltd. Size stamped 13 and date of manufacturer 1946. The BD also has two medal ribbon awards. The War Defence medal and the 1939 to 1945 War medal.
