Austrian MP34 SMG ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. The MP34 which is also known as the Steyr-Solothurn was widely used by the German army during WW2. It is often mistaken as a German weapon. In fact it was designed by a German engineer and the prototype was made in Germany. However the manufacturing was undertaken in 1930 by the Swiss firm Solothurn, who where owned by Rheinische Metallwaren un Maschinenfabrik based in Dusseldorf. It was also made in Austria. When Germany annexed Austria in 1938 the MP34 was taken into Wehrmacht service. However in 1942 Germany sold a large number of MP34's to Portugal which this example is one of the Portuguese contracts. It has been stamped with the Pourtuguese coat of arms and 1942 date which is not the date of manufacture by the date of the contract. It does not cock or dry fire. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purchase.
