German Army NCO's M43 Tunic ( Cavalry )

This is a very nice example of a M43 tunic with a bottle green collar. Standard M43 tunics would have the collar as the same colour as the rest of the tunic. I believe this particular tunic was the original owners part of his walking out dress uniform. It has the rank of Unteroffizier ( Senior Corporal ) and the branch of service colour golden yellow for Cavalry. Shoulder boards have unit number slip ons, 246 Cavalry Regiment ). The tunic also retains some award loops. The condition of the tunic is excellent except for what looks to be a single moth nip below the bottom button. However i suspect the damage is not actually from a moth but more likely from a belt buckle. The tunic has clear size markings and is dated E43 for Erfurt 1943.
