German Kleiner Granatenwerfer G.R.W.16 Wooden Box

This is a wooden storage mortar grenade box for the Kleiner Granatenwerfer which was a light Spigot type trench mortar. It was given the nick names "Priesterwerfer" Priest Launcher and "Kleiner Priester " Little Priest. The wooden box would have contained 10 Mortar Grenades.
