WW1 Imperial German Navy Cap

This is an extremely rare item which has come from a private collection and has been stamped so. The cap has had a minor repair on its crown, otherwise it is in extremely good condition. The cap band reads " MARINESTATION DER NORDSEE " ( Navy station North Sea ). The personal would either man shore based batteries or observation posts. This is a M1941 Jacket which as NAVY DEPARTMENT on its manufacturers tag and giving size 38. The jacket is in fair condition and has the usual frayed cuffs. The zipper is in good working order. On the left breast there seems to have been a name where the stitching is still visible.  read more
