This is S84/98 bayonet more commonly referred to as the K98 bayonet. This example is matching numbered. However the scabbard is over numbered to the bayonet, which i believe is period done. This is an inert M1924 stick grenade, the head of the grenade is dated 1940 with a visible waffenampt. It is also marked with to letter "R" facing opposite each which is the makers code for Richard Rinker GmbH. It retains most of its original finish.
